The Proper Way to Pee

A teacher attempting to teach excellent manners asked her pupils the following question during one of her daily classes:

“Michael, if you were on a date with a lovely young lady, how would you tell her you needed to use the restroom?” ☺

“Just a minute, I have to pee,” Michael remarked.

“That would be disrespectful and impolite,” the teacher said.

“How about you, Sherman? What would you say?”

“I’m sorry, but I really need to go to the restroom,” Sherman remarked. I’ll return straight away. ?

‘That’s better, but it’s still not very nice to say the word bathroom at the dinner table. ?

And you, Johnny, could you just use your intelligence for once and show us your decent manners?

“I would say, Darling, may I perhaps be excused for a moment?” asked Johnny. “I need to shake hands with a very close friend, whom I intend to present to you after dinner.”?
