A Frog Is Born Mute
A frog is born mute, and he can’t make any typical frog noises because, well, he can’t make any noises at all.
As a result, the frog has a tough time making friends with the other frogs, and he only has one friend.
a tortoise with the patience and foresight to befriend this silent frog and establish a communication system with him.
The frog blinks once for yes and twice for no, while the tortoise does all the talking and questioning, and they get along just well.
Years pass and the frog and tortoise have developed a lovely friendship.
However, as the frog has grown older, he has developed se*xual curiosity and wishes to socialize with other frogs his age.
One day, the tortoise notices this and asks the frog, “Do you want me to take you to the pond?”
Yes is indicated by a single blink from the frog.
So the tortoise takes the frog to the pond and begins socializing him with the other frogs.
The frog is initially scared, but the tortoise does an excellent job of explaining his impairment, and all of the other frogs accept his condition.
The silent frog ends up gaining many new pals, which enhances his self-esteem.
The frog then notices a gorgeous girl frog across the pond.
He can’t keep his gaze away from her, and the tortoise notices.
“You like her, don’t you?” replies the tortoise.
The frog makes a single blink.
“You want me to go talk to her for you?” replies the tortoise.
For No. 2, the frog blinks twice. “I see,” the tortoise responds.
You wish you could speak to her.’
A solitary tear falls down the frog’s small frog cheek as he blinks once.
“Well, gee, my friend,” the tortoise says. “We’ve been such close friends for so long, I feel obligated to find a method to restore your voice.”
With that, the tortoise leaves.
The tortoise spends days searching the jungle until he comes upon a snake, who happens to be the most renowned surgeon in the area.
This snake is capable of performing every operation known to man.
The tortoise explains the problem to the snake and asks if the snake can help the frog in any way.
“Yesssss,” says the snake.
“There is one surgery I can perform that may restore your friend’s voice, but you must understand that it is extremely dangerous.” There’s a 50% chance your friend will not survive the procedure. “Oh my,” the tortoise exclaims. “I’ll make sure to notify him!”
So the tortoise returns to the frog and informs him of the situation.
