A 70-year-old retired Military officer

A 70-year-old former military colonel had only one hobby: fishing.

He was sitting on his boat when he heard someone yell, “Pick me up.” He looked around, but there was no one there.

When he heard the voice repeat, “Pick me up,” he assumed he was dreaming.

He peered down into the water and noticed a frog floating on the surface.

“Are you talking to me?” said the retired cop. “Yes, I’m talking to you,” replied the frog. Pick me up, kiss me, and I’ll transform into the most stunning lady you’ve ever seen. Because I will be your wife, I will make all of your friends envious and jealous. After a brief glance at the frog, the retired officer reached over, carefully picked it up, and placed it in his shirt pocket.

“What, are you insane?” replied the frog. Did you not hear what I said? “Kiss me, and I will be your lovely wife,” I murmured.

He took something from his pocket, glanced at the frog, and muttered, “Nah.” “I’d rather have a talking frog at my age.”
