Little johnny

Johnny’s teacher has posed some questions to him.

What is the sum of 12 and 12?

How about 24? he said.

What is the sum of 15 and 15? she asked.

How about 30? he said.

She tells you to go stand in the corridor until you stop repeating yourself. How about that?

After a while, she gets out and says, “So what have we learned?”

“While I was standing out in the hall, I watched a cockroach go up the wall,” he continues, “but he didn’t remark anything about it.”

“Now go up in front of the class and tell them what you saw, but please say roach, okay?” she insisted.

So he goes in, takes a seat in front of the class, and says, “While I was standing in the corridor, I watched a cockroach walk up the wall.” (He didn’t say, “How about that?”)

“Now go up in front of the class and tell them what you saw, but please say roach, okay?” she insisted.

So he walks in, stands in front of the class, and says, “When I was standing out in the hall, I witnessed a roach go up the wall without a cock.” How about that?
