8 Eye Exercises You Can Do If Your Eyes Feel Tired

Scientists say the seeing process takes up more than 50% of the brain’s functionality. The stress from living a fast life, running to do every task needed for the day, or staying long hours in front of the computer, makes our eyes tired.

Viral Strange has gathered a set of exercises you can do everywhere to help prevent your eyes from feeling tired.

1. Side-to-side eye movement

Do this while standing or sitting upright:

  • Look to the left without moving your head. Focus on an object you can see. Then look to the right and do the same.
  • Do the side-to-side eye movement 5 times, and repeat the exercise 3 times.

2. Up and down eye movement

Do this while standing or sitting upright:

  • Look up and down and focus on what you see.
  • Do the up and down eye movement 5 times in each direction, and repeat the exercise 3 times.

3. Diagonal eye movement

Do this while standing or sitting upright:

  • Look down to the left. Move your eyes diagonally and look up to the right.
  • Then, look down to the right and move your eyes up to the left.
  • Repeat the diagonal eye movement 5 times in each direction, and repeat the exercise 3 times.

4. Circle eye movement

Do this while standing or sitting upright:

  • Roll your eyes slowly in a circle clockwise. Do it 5 times.
  • Then, roll your eyes in a circle counterclockwise. Do it 5 times.
  • Repeat the exercise 3 times.
