Action film legend Chuck Norris has passed away after being hospitalized in Hawaii on Thursday. His family confirmed in a statement released Friday that he died peacefully that morning.

“While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by family and was at peace,” the statement read.
